On Thursday, May 4, 2023, Hill College presents the Visual and Performing Arts Student Showcase. The evening will feature a digital art display from the art department; vocal and instrumental soloists and ensembles from the music department; and a student-directed, one-act play from the drama department.

The vocal and instrumental soloists and ensembles from the music department include performances by Zachary Belcher, William Blanton, Alexis Golleher, Taylor Gore, Madyson Lewis, Alan Ortiz, Clare Parkhill, and Alli Price.

The drama department is producing The Patchwork Quilt, by Rachel Field (produced by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French). It is directed by Madison Bailey, a sophomore theatre major, and features many theatre students, both on stage and behind the scenes.

Admission is free. The performances begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Vara Martin Daniel Performing Arts Center at the Hill County Campus.
